London is nice. Believe me! Living in a small city in Europe, man will know what a paradise is London.

Lady Sun, I have been reading your blog for some time now, and find it interesting, intelligently written, sometimes heart-rending, but always informational. I am a Canadian, and have never been to Iran or anywhere in the middle east, but I have had many acquaintances from the area, so I sought to understand the politics, religions, culture and people where they came from, for no other reason than to enhance my world knowledge. I believe you and your friends are brave and proud, as you should be. I’ve been meaning to tell you that, but I do not blog as I doubt that I would be interesting at all to anyone.
I’ve been meaning to ask you whatever became of the ‘PensivePersian’, your cousin, I believe, who was attending university in Toronto?
Anyway, keep up the good work for you and all your friends.

Sorry it seems like I missed this comment and didn’t see it to approve it. Thanks for all your good words :)
I haven’t heard from my cousin for a while. Good note, I should check on him and see how he’s been doing! Of course I heard from one of my uncles that he’s doing OK.
Best regards, Ken.

Hi Lady Sun
I learned about you through my recent reading of ‘We Are Iran’; a book that totally consumed me!
I was taken aback to read of Hossein Derakhshan’s arrest last year, I hope you don’t mind me asking but how is Mr. Derakhshan now? I scoured in ‘net for information but could find out nothing.
Thank you for your sensitive, honest and smart words in this ‘blog.
I wish you happiness and hope London is treating you a little better!

Lady Sun:
Dear Lindsey, Thanks for your nice words. As far as I know, Hossein is in solitary confinement. One of his accusations is disrespecting the prophet (if one gets convicted of such an accusation, he might be sentenced to death.) His family refuse to talk to the media to let public know about his whereabouts. We don’t even know if he has an attorney or not. So, we are in a vacuum about his situation. Unfortunately nothing can be done unless his family decide to talk and let us know where Hossein is and what his situation is.
